Wild and remote places in different parts of the world, including Chukotka in the Russian Far East, Mumbo Island in Lake Malawi National Park and, more recently, Nepal and Bhutan – have been a continual source of inspiration. However, the Finnish skerries, in particular, have held a lasting impact – requiring at least an annual visit.
