India

The rich history, diversity of cultures, colours and spiritual influences of India have been a magnet since Alison’s first visit to Agra in l979, followed by a memorable journey to Sikkim in l983.  Her journey to Wayanad, Northern Kerala, in 2012 revealed an oasis of beauty in Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary (www.gbsanctuary.org, www.bgci.org) where a dedicated team of conservationists are ensuring that the rainforest and indigenous species will reign supreme…as a rich legacy for future generations.
